Meditation - A How To Guide
"We are spiritual beings having a human experience."
-Teilhard de Chardin
Meditation is a wonderful way to quiet your body and mind and soothe your soul. It provides a respite and helps you gain perspective on the pressures and stresses of your busy life. Meditation is a practice that can give you clarity and balance in everything you do. You don't need any training, and there is no right or wrong way to do it.

Here are a few suggestions to get started:

-
Find a quiet and comfortable place away from the business of your life. Some people create a space with an environment (such as a candle) that exudes harmony.
-
Sit on a chair or a pillow on the floor in any manner that is comfortable to you.
-
Start by closing your eyes and taking long, slow breaths in and out.
-
Focus on your breath as you allow the muscles in your body to relax and your mind to quiet.
-
If you hear a sound or find your mind wandering, don't worry. Just acknowledge the mini "interruption" and go back to your breathing.

If you find yourself at work or home in any type of tense and stressful situation, just take a minute to close your eyes and breathe. It does wonders for our minds and bodies, even if just for a minute or two.
Meditation brings balance and clarity, releases negativity and leaves you with more to draw on in times of stress.

There is no outcome to aim to for in meditation. The gift is in the process.
The Four Levels of Energy Meditation
Working with Spirit Guides to Connect with Your Inner Wisdom
This process is a progression that I call a frequency ladder. It works with Spirit Guides to take you from the concerns of every day life into connection with Spirit.
It begins in the body because the body is the easiest and most effective entry point to begin meditating.
Each progressive level balances a vital aspect of your energy and moves you to a higher frequency of healing and connection.
Level I: Connecting with your body and facilitating the flow of energy. Getting present, experiencing this moment, where life is happening. Opening to your eternal, invisible, divine being.
Level 2: Living abundantly, powerfully, soulfully and authentically.
Level 3: Moving through emotions into love and peace. Opening to any form of healing you may need.
Level 4: Uniting with the unlimited divine, where your soul’s desires come true.
